Dear Blue Knights,
if you have visited our website in the last few hours, you may have noticed that things look a little different. Behind the scenes and on the surface, blue-knights.eu has received a thorough overhaul. Here is a short overview of what has changed.
A modern technical foundation
The website now runs on the latest version of its content management system. This keeps it secure, fast and future-proof. At the same time, we cleaned out a considerable amount of legacy data that had accumulated over the years, and the website is now backed up automatically several times a day.
A new, unified design
The website now shares the look and feel of COMPASS, our new member portal: navy blue and gold, clear tiles and a calmer layout. The newsblog, all articles, the meeting calendar and the event pages now follow one consistent style, on desktop as well as on mobile devices.
Newsblog and meetings
The newsblog presents all articles at a glance in a compact overview. Each meeting in the calendar now has a clearly structured page with all key information, a map and the address of the venue, plus buttons to add the event directly to your own calendar.
Easier access
- New members can once again find the registration link directly in the main menu.
- When you are logged in, you will now see a short greeting and a logout button at the top right, so you always know whether you are signed in.
Our European newsletter
The newsletter mailing list has been completely renewed based on our current member data, so the newsletter will reliably reach active members. The sign-up form has a new design and is now protected against automated spam registrations.
