Dear Blue Knights,
we have updated the procedure for requesting access to the internal members' area of the Blue Knights European Conference website.
From now on, all new account requests must be submitted via the new "Blue Knights Member Registration" form. Compared to the previous standard Joomla form, this form collects a few additional details such as your country and chapter. These fields are required so that we can clearly assign you to the correct chapter and verify your membership against our official records.
In addition, you may optionally provide the make and model of your motorcycle. This information is purely voluntary and will be used only for internal, anonymised statistical evaluations (for example, to get a better overview of the types of motorcycles ridden by our members). It has no impact on the processing or approval of your account request.
Please note that access to the internal area remains restricted to verified Blue Knights members only. Every registration request will continue to be checked manually by an administrator before an account is activated. You will receive an email once your request has been processed and your account has been approved.
All personal data submitted via the new form is processed and stored in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable European data protection laws. Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
